Last Wednesday we had an amazing conversation of gender identity and sexuality of cartoon characters. We discussed Bert and Ernie, Sponge Bob, Tinky Wink, Cat/Dog, Elmo, and Dexter’s Laboratory characters. We also discussed some to reasons identity is placed upon cartoon characters. Wednesday, everyone is bringing a favorite cartoon. While watching cartoons, we will eat pizza and salad.
