Resources for activism against HB 4770 and HB 4771

Michigan HB 4770, the bill to eliminate the ability of public institutions from offering domestic partner benefits and HB 4771, a bill to prevent unions from bargaining for domestic partner benefits, are unfair, harmful and likely unconstitutional. The Jim Toy Community Center’s Public Policy Committee has collected several resources to help you, a concerned Michigan resident, communicate with your congressional representatives, friends, family, business owners and Governor Snyder about these threats to the health and well-being of Michigan residents as well as the economic prosperity of our state.
